Élisabeth Moreno is a Franco-Cape Verdean born in Cape Verde in 1970 and arrived in France in 1976. She is successively a business manager, executive, consular judge and politician. Faced with adversity at a very young age, she developed a great capacity for resilience and an acute sense of responsibility. After her baccalaureate, she began studying law. She quickly realizes that economic independence is a key factor in social progress and creates her first company at the age of 20 in the thermal insulation sector. Ten years later, enthusiastic about the world of new technologies, she joined the international groups France Telecom, then Dell, Lenovo and HP. In this context, she traveled twice to Morocco and South Africa. In 2006 she obtained a European Executive MBA before becoming a Consular Judge. This meritocratic career supplemented by 20 years of associative commitments earned her to be called upon to join the government of Prime Minister Jean Castex in 2020, as Minister in charge of Equality between Women and Men, Diversity and of equal opportunities. It will carry flagship measures such as the law for the economic emancipation of women, the Diversity and Inclusion Index, PMA for all, the platform for the fight against discrimination or the doubling of paternity leave. |
